About Afrilink Ocean

Connecting Africa’s Coast — Intelligently, Reliably, and Without Containers

is a bold, purpose-built shipping initiative designed to serve Africa’s under-served coastal breakbulk trade. We’re creating a dedicated liner service that links key ports across the continent — from Durban to Mombasa, Walvis Bay to Tema — with scheduled, reliable rotations focused on non-containerized cargo.

Our vessels are engineered for project cargo, breakbulk, and industrial freight — the kind of cargo that doesn’t fit into a 40-foot box. And unlike container giants, we’re not chasing volume. We’re here to serve the cargo owners and freight forwarders who have been left behind by mainstream shipping models.

Why this matters

Africa's trade is growing — but not all of it moves in containers. Many cargo owners face:

  • Delays at congested transshipment hubs
  • A lack of direct, regional routes
  • Inflexibility for breakbulk, machinery, or heavy-lift shipments

Afrilink Ocean was created to change that.

Built by Real Operators

This isn’t a speculative tech startup. Afrilink Ocean is being developed by experienced professionals in freight forwarding, project logistics, and African trade, backed by operational insight and long-standing industry networks.

From cargo estimation to port handling, we know what it takes to move freight in Africa — and we’re building a liner service that actually works for shippers, not just spreadsheets.

Why We’re Asking for Your Input

Before the first vessel sails, we’re inviting cargo owners and forwarders to register their interest.

Why?

Because your needs should shape the service.

  • Which ports matter most to you?
  • What cargo do you move?
  • How often do you ship?

With your input, we’ll fine-tune routes, frequencies, and capabilities — and when we launch, you’ll be first in line with access to rates, schedules, and space.

There’s no cost and no commitment to register. Just a chance to help shape a much-needed coastal service — and benefit from early access when it goes live.
